"I'll never roller skate again!"

Well...this is what Meikah said as I was taking her into the ER for x-rays. Her class was on a skating trip to the roller rink and she fell on her hand (not on the rink, but the carpet) and broke her arm near her wrist. She broke both bones, the radius and ulna. The ulna was fractured through and the radius "has pieces off of it." It did not brake near the growth plate so that was good news. She has a cast up her elbow and half way up her upper arm. We will go to the orthopaedist this coming week. We hope we do not have to have surgery!!! Her thumb is hurting also and so I am hoping there is nothing wrong with that too. Good times!
