Today I wanted to multiply myself in thirds.
Kendrah had her wisdom teeth removed and was needing some extra attention. Anesthetic makes her cranky so I needed those meds to kick in quick! No such luck. Did you know she can sign words with out knowing what she is spelling. She is quite talented! At least now she has pain meds, no gauze, and a handsome young man from out of state on the phone!
Meikah was having a painful day with homework. "Who cares about rocks anyway!!" Well, someone out there does and I did my best to make rock hunting "look" fun. The emotions were added to when math came into the equation. Yikes!
Aleynah lost at Wheel of Fortune, and had a sad farewell for her beloved Jelly Bean. After her mourning was over we buried him in our pet cemetery. 4 hours later she is asking for another pet. I told her she had to wait until we got to Elizabeth's house and then ask me that!
The needs and emotions of an all girl house sometimes overwhelm me. I am sure God looks at me and laughs sometimes, so I guess I should be doing the same. As hard as it gets, I wouldn't change it for the world! I love my girls so much. They are great examples to me and I am happy to share in their lives!
Diana, you took me back a few years ago to when my four girls were home with me. Oh the drama sometimes, but a I look back we had some great times. They have all been such a blessing to me in spite of all the hardships we experienced together. It was a great learning time for all of us. And such a blessing to me in my less young years. What joys they have all brought me, and one of them was you and your posterity. It has been a wonderful life to be a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. The Lord has truly blessed your grandfather and me. Keep up the good work.
