....really, we are. I realized we have not updated our blog for a really long time. And with doing our recent Christmas letter, I am not sure what more to add. However, I will add some info and plug some pictures in and try harder next time!
The previous pictures are Aleynah at the OKC Zoo, Grandma falling off the monkey bars, the pies Aleynah and I made for Thanksgiving, and two skeletons (Racoon and Sloth) from the Museum of Osteology.
The girls are being homeschooled now. They are loving it and so am I. It is a little tricky as I am working too, but we have worked out some plans that help us get the work done and not be too stressed out. The girls are pretty self directed, so that helps out a lot. I have done a lot of research on homeschooling and the requirements in Oklahoma, including the requirements for homeschool students to get into college. I feel good about the decision and we are going forward in full force. We have a good support group and have several friends who are homeschooling also.
The girls are enjoying their new Christmas presents, laptops for their school work. Of course, they are used for other things sometimes, but they are mainly for school work. Meikah also received a graphic tablet for her birthday so she has been doing a lot of art work.
I think that's it for now. We are enjoying the time we all have together and are looking forward to a few more days of vacation time!
