We are half way to our final destination. We finally got out of town around 1pm on Friday. Mommy drove the big truck (with GREAT pleasure and fun) all the way to Boise, ID. She loved it! She started getting a little drowsy about 1:30am and so Meikah and Aleynah helped her sing songs from "Wicked" really REALLY loud in the truck! What fun it was.
Gma Beulah drove from Olympia to Vancouver where Edgar took over the wheel. We made several stops along the way but had fun doing it. We pulled into Boise at 2:00am and jumped up to head out again by 9am-ish. We were sad to miss our dear friends from Magna, but sometimes things happen that are beyond our control. We pulled into Mapleton, UT about 4pm or so and met with family for a terrific BBQ and fun visiting.
Now it is late and we are headed bright and early to New Mexico! Another day closer to "home".
