Yes, I am now unemployed and Washington is a green land! I walked out of work today for the last time as an employee. It was sad. I hardly made it to the front door before I started to tear up and cried all the way home. I have worked with such wonderful people who I feel blessed to know. I fear I will never find a place that feels so much like home.
Now we move to the next step....more serious packing. 14 days from today we will be at our first stop headed toward our new home and new adventures.
We have been blessed to know many wonderful people in Washington, many of whom we will miss greatly.
I really I'd seen this last month. It's one of the best headlines on a blog post ever. I like to think Wallace Shawn approves.
