We are getting settled in more and more each day. I admit, it is hot here. Last night we played softball at 10pm and the temperature was 91 degrees. It felt great, but it was earlier in the day that was a killer. Once we have things more organized we will take pictures and post them.
Today we returned the Penske moving truck - YAHOO! It felt great to have that returned. Now we are just doing inside stuff and trying to find places for all of our stuff to fit into a studio type apartment. Kendrah and Meikah's room looks great. The purple color they decided on was perfect. Aleynah decided on a calming blue for our big room and it is nice and cooling.
Elizabeth and Robert have done so much to welcome us and prepare their home for our coming. They even put a refrigerator upstairs for us to put cold drinks and other things in. They have been so great to us.
We registered the girls for school today and found out that Meikah and Aleynah are in a different school than we thought. They will be in Del Crest Middle School (rather than Kerr). Aleynah was a little disappointed but still hopes they have a side of french fries! I also will be applying to be a student teacher and have to do a training on August 3rd. Edgar has been a great help in doing some fix it jobs around the house for Robert and Elizabeth. I have lost all track of time and day. It actually is a nice feeling!
